An HTML sitemap is a webpage that lists all website pages in a hierarchical structure. It mainly includes links to the main section and sub-sections of the website. It is mainly useful for the website visitor to easily find the information they are looking for easily and quickly.


HTML sitemaps are usually structured, with the main categories at the top and the subcategories underneath. Depending on the website's design, this can be presented in a list or graphical format. It can also help search engines discover new pages on the website that may not be linked to other pages. However, they are mainly designed for human visitors and not for search engines as their primary source. 

Now that we have understood the sitemap and types of sitemap now, let us jump into the benefits of sitemaps:

This also improves website traffic and visibility.
