You also should have the right credentials, such as user name and password, to connect also; you should have a good and secure internet connection.

Basically, there are 4 main ways, or you can say solutions, through which you can do it : 

Solution:1 

Changing the RDP setting a bit may fix you like:


  1. Go to start >> Run. Then type the mstsc command and hit the enter button. 

  2. Then expand the show options button. It will give you some buttons in the same dialogue box.

  3. Then click on the experience tab and do verify the “Reconnect if the connection is dropped” is tick marked or not. 

  4. Then now, try to connect the RDP again 

Solution: 2 

  1. Click on the remote settings >>> RDP tab. 

  2. Then after that untick, the allow connection (only from the computers running the remote desktop with network level authentication. 

  3. Then click on the OK button. 

Solution: 3 

  1. Go to start and type services.msc 

  2. At services, Select remote desktop service and restart it. 

Solution: 4

  1. Right-click on my computer and click on the properties option.

  2. Click on advanced system settings >> Remote. 

  3. Always ensure that remote connection to the particular computer is verified and checked.
